Engineering Capabilities
Solar Plastics offers engineering services that encompasses full product design, design consultation, project engineering, manufacturing engineering and cost reduction engineering.
Mold Building
We have aligned ourselves with some the world’s premiere mold builders, offering CNC machined molds, cast aluminum molds, and fabricated molds.
Manufacturing
Solar Plastics operates out of two manufacturing facilities running 16 rotational molding machines. We are an ISO 9001 registered company that focuses on safety, quality, cost and throughput; all of which result in customer satisfaction.
Secondary Operations
Solar Plastics is truly different than other contract rotational molders when it comes to secondary operations. In addition to operating 5-axis routers, post mold foaming operations, light assembly cells, and managing customer inventory, Solar Plastics is a complete outsourced manufacturing partner to several of our customers. This entails manufacturing complete units for our customers that are ready to be used in the market, allowing our customer to focus on new product introduction, growth plan, and selling their products.
